Do you charge sales tax?

Unless your order is shipped to a Virginia address, we do not collect sales tax. Like any other mail order company, we are only obligated to collect sales tax for the state where we have a location. You will need to voluntarily pay the appropriate sales tax to your own state government if due.

The Executive Diamonds inventory is, and always will be, of the highest value and the best quality. All diamonds are certified from GIA or AGS and none of our diamonds are treated as "clarity enhanced" or "color enhanced."

What is the best proportions for a diamond?

As you will learn, that answer is very complex and why our exclusive INSIDER Diamond Buying Process includes an expert visually selecting the best options for you based on your criteria.

The dimensions of a diamond that maximizes its sparkle and brilliance and thus value varies from one shape to another, i.e. round, princess, emerald, oval, etc. Determining a diamond's cut grade, however, goes beyond simple measurements of width and depth. The interrelations between these various proportions and angles will greatly affect how light reacts once it enters and how it behaves once it exits. Polish and symmetry are two other important aspects of the cutting process. The polish grade describes the smoothness of the diamond's facets, and the symmetry grade refers to alignment of the facets. With poor polish, the surface of a facet can be dulled, and may create blurred or dulled sparkle. With poor symmetry, light can be misdirected as it enters and exits the diamond. The polish and symmetry grades are clearly listed in each GIA or AGS diamond grading report you get with an Executive Diamond purchase.
